Fare-free transit for Canadian Armed Forces membersWhitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT), in partnership with the Region of Durham, is proud to offer a limited-time fare incentive for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, reservists and veterans.
To qualify for fare-free travel, eligible individuals must present one of the following:
- Veteran’s Service Card (NDI 75)
- Canadian Forces Identification Card (NDI 20)
- CFOne Card
- Temporary National Defence Identification Card (NDI 10) or
- Appear in uniform or wearing service medals
