DRT service update following fire at 710 Raleigh Avenue
Whitby, Ontario – Following a fire at Durham Region Transit’s (DRT) facility in Oshawa on Wednesday, August 16, service updates have been implemented.
As a result of the fire early Wednesday morning, DRT is currently unable to deliver service from the Raleigh garage in Oshawa.

Contactless debit card payment now available on Durham Region TransitWhitby, Ontario – Following the successful launch of contactless credit card payments in January, Durham Region Transit (DRT) is now pleased to accept contactless debit card payment.
Customers can pay fare by tapping a PRESTO card, debit card or credit card, including cards linked to smartphones and smartwatches.
